GRC Specialist

Seco is now looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Specialist to take a central role in a small new team working with IT in a production environment. We’re currently building a new cyber security function and we want you on board. About the job In this position, you take an important role in developing and maintaining our risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring the timely identification and analysis of risk to increase our resilience and minimize potential sources of information loss. You implement rules, follow up and ensure that we apply standards and policies all over our organization. To set clearly defined guidelines and provide guidance and recommendations to your stakeholders and ensure scalable, cost efficient and secure ways of working to support our growth is another important part of your agenda. Compliance Officer - Division Rock Tools

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is now looking for a Compliance Officer to Division Rock Tools. Compliance is a vital part in enabling and supporting the strategy of Division Rock Tools and this is where you come in – a person who’s thrilled by protecting and strengthening the value for our employees, customers, suppliers, and communities working across our whole division! Your mission With a strong risk-based approach as your ethical compass, you drive, advise, support, and monitor compliance and risk management activities for Division Rock Tools including coordination of our hosted Sales Areas (currently Central and Southern Africa). You’re responsible for the further implementation of the Sandvik Compliance program which consist of Data Privacy, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Competition Compliance, Third-Party Management and our Speak Up program into the division as well as ensure integrity and a strong compliance culture. You also ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, as well as identifying risks, setting priorities, and supporting the responsible organizations in mitigation implementations. You do this by always bringing clear, simple, and business-driven solutions using data and analytics to your stakeholders and making it a part of the everyday business practices through teamwork and a collaborative approach. Developing and deploying training tools, templates, and processes are also part of your role, to manage compliance and business continuity risks and share best practices – which you do in close cooperation with other support functions (HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, etc.) and with the compliance team at business area level. By creating an understanding of the business at the process, system, and people level, you’re able to find the real root causes when dealing with potential issues. You engage the business in doing the right thing, while challenging them to ensure quality and relevance, keeping continuous improvement at the heart of what you do. Simply said, you help us increase the compliance maturity level throughout the whole division. Your character We’re looking for someone with work experience and knowledge within compliance, routines, and processes – on a level solid enough to independently drive development of our compliance program. You’re confident working with project management in a global corporate environment, preferably within manufacturing or retail. With a good IT understanding, you easily fetch data, conduct analyses, make presentations, and do other relevant tasks. We believe you have a relevant degree in your backpack, such as legal, economics or business – or have acquired equivalent knowledge from a working career. When it comes to language, you communicate professionally in verbal and written English, while other languages are advantageous. You’re the perfect combination of a theoretically inclined and socially communicative person. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills helps you to drive change in an environment with indirect reports and senior stakeholders. You’re not afraid to take place, making sure that things are happening to reach deadlines while also getting your hands dirty whenever needed. You have a good ability to create structure and ways of working between different organizations, as well as prioritizing with a sense of urgency.
