You will be part the Commercial Management team within Mobility and Financial Services (M&FS), where our vision is to drive customer retention, increases margins and enable growth through managing our fleet operations, financial products and partnerships. We work together with our business partners and stakeholders to deepen our understanding of our customer behavior, create transparency of our financial performance and influence and drive decisions through the organization. Here you will be part of shaping the future of the company through innovative commercial activities of auto insurance, one of our most prioritized areas. Of course, we have fun whilst doing it!
As a Regional Manager Northern Europe for Volvo cars Insurance, you will:
Be part of an international team that covers 33 locations and part of a major global commercial transformation of our Mobility & Financial Services (M&FS) business.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be operationally responsible for implementing the Insurance vision, mission, and business plan in your Region, being the key contributor in the team to develop and drive the strategic roadmap to world class insurance in the Northern Europe Region.

Specifically, you will be responsible to:
* Deliver financial, penetration and retention targets for car insurance in your markets.
* Manage the relationships with strategic insurance partner(s) in your region.
* Contribute to specific insurance projects defined in the Business Plan (e.g., partnership consolidation, usage-based insurance, insurance embedded in web experience, Selekt and Certified Pre-Owned cars insurance, steering repairs to Volvo cars network and Customer experience initiatives)
* Develop and maintain the legal templates for our partnership agreements and assist markets in your region for RFQ processes.
* Ensure that all legal, compliance and regulatory topics are respected in your region.
* Be responsible for reviewing and evaluating performance KPI’ and initiate corrective actions.
* Review and evaluate partners and initiate corrective actions.
* Develop and spread best practice across the markets and assist NSC’s on insurance topics.
* Maximize the steering of repairs directed to Volvo branded network.
* Identify opportunities to improve our processes that will create efficiency and scalability.


Do you fit the profile?
If you have a solid experience in automotive insurance (retail) and a good affinity with the Northern Europe region, you will thrive in this role.

In this role, it is important to have strong business skills, and the ability to plan, coordinate and carry out work with many different stakeholders and present the information in a simple and concise way.
* You have good verbal and written communication in English and enjoy working in an international context.
* You are a collaborative team player who is ready to assist colleagues and National Sales Companies to grow their insurance business, and a passion for coaching and mentoring.
* You are a good communicator, motivated by building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* You have a strong interest in building something new, not just maintaining existing processes.


You have a:

* Master’s degree/ Higher Education or equivalent
* Deep understanding of auto insurance, including regulatory aspects, and the willingness to obtain accreditation from an insurance regulator.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Strong affinity and desire to work in an international context.
* Significant work experience in insurance / financial services
* High degree of business acumen and understanding of automotive retail & after sales
* Familiarity with business planning techniques and processes
* You can manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results.
