Experienced patent attorney

We are looking for a structured, quality-conscious and experienced patent attorney Company Description: KIPA is active in the field of intellectual property law with a focus on medical technology. From our office in central Helsingborg, we work both locally and internationally. With a high level of expertise in medical technology, close collaborations and personal service, we offer our customers professional advice in the IP area. KIPA was founded in 2006 and has experienced constant growth. KIPA's head office is in Helsingborg, we are also located in Lund. We are now looking for an experienced patent attorney to be placed at our office in Helsingborg. Duties: As a patent attorney you are crucial to the team and a part of a highly professional group. You will be working both alongside your colleagues and individually. You will handle a diverse caseload mainly within the medical technology field as well as helping expand the portfolio. You will be drafting applications, novelty searches, office action responses and opinion work. And get the chance to work with oppositions and litigation matters across Europe. KIPA’s clients are based both locally and internationally so you will be involved in the full range of patent matters. We are looking for someone who: – Have at least 10 years’ experience in the patent field – Either be a qualified European Patent Attorney or have the ambition to pursue the EQE route. KIPA will assist you with knowledge and finances – Preferable with experience working at a patent office as an examiner – Experience with medical devices and medical technology – Relevant technical background – Electrical engineering or – Physics engineering – MSc or at least BSc – Fluent in English As a person, you are structured and prioritize your activities in an efficient way. Strategy comes naturally to you, and you look at the long-term importance of things and adjust your actions accordingly. You are quality-conscious and meticulous, understand the importance of your tasks being done correctly and place great emphasis on living up to your high goals.
