We are currently seeking a Design Lead to lead our Product Design function and help us change how the world views talent, today and tomorrow. We are therefore working on large product bets as well as adapting our go-to-market strategies. In this effort, getting product design right is crucial and the Design Lead will have significant impact on the future success of our company. The role As Design Lead, you will report directly to the COO and be the leader of our design team. We expect you to own the long-term product design vision that aligns with the product strategy, ensuring that every interaction with the product is seamless, intuitive, and delightful. You will: Oversee the end-to-end design process to ensure the design team's alignment with user needs and business goals. Integrate the user perspective into the design mindset, ensuring it is part of every product development phase and focuses on solving the right problems. Conduct prototyping and rapid validation to align stakeholders and ensure momentum in the right direction. Ensure cross-departmental communication, project coordination, and the integration of design principles into product development processes. Attract, retain, and develop top-tier design talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, creativity, and high performance within the design team. We currently have three product designers, one per product squad. Lead cross-functional collaboration and leadership efforts, working alongside the CTO and CPO, to promote effective teamwork across Design, Product, and Engineering. Additionally, you will contribute to hands-on design work in one of our three squads, working with product managers and engineering managers from the early product stages to the final development of features and functionality. You We are seeking a Design Lead with a solid track record of working with design systems and launching products. Ideally, your experience comes from a SaaS product, but we value your expertise regardless of whether it lies in B2C, B2B, or agency contexts. The important aspect for us is that you have a history of seeing your designs being shipped to production and having iterated on them based on user feedback. To be a successful candidate, you: Have significant work experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, and/or Visual Designer. Experience as a team lead would be valued. Possess core design skill sets, including visual design, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture. Are very comfortable with planning, conducting, and analyzing user research. Excel in explaining your work, process, and findings to cross-functional stakeholders, actively seeking feedback to produce your best work. Take ownership over design projects from start to finish, independently involving and leading contributors such as product managers, engineers, and people scientists to a successful outcome. Are interested in taking a leadership role and have talent for being a leader Have a strong grasp over the long term design vision and strategy of a product in order to guide the design team towards creating a delightful product. Senior UX/UI Designer

The title says Senior UX/UI Designer, yet this is so much more! You’ve got a hunger to understand our customers, their needs, and pains so you can create a memorable user experience. Your primary duty and core competence is delivering this through UI design, owning the Design System as your playbook. Based at our headquarters in Stockholm, as our new Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a critical role in defining product behavior and coordination of patterns throughout most Tobii products. You may be tasked to work alongside market research, branding other cross departmental teams in development cycles. Many people can identify a problem, but your strength lies in creating beautiful UI solutions to solve the issue. You also have critical thinking skills to understand at what level to best approach a problem. To consider the whole as a sum of its parts. What does a Senior UX/UI Designer do at Tobii? Focus on your mission to standardize quality design across Tobii products. We want our products to look great, be simple to use and work seamlessly with each other. You will be expected to guide this using ecosystem thinking and iterative processes, concentrating on UX methods to create visual solutions You will be instrumental in expanding our Design System and oversee its use in multiple products with different component types (web and mobile) Clarify design principles for style guides, component libraries, etc. to serve as a unified system between teams. Your goal will be to increase consistency and interactivity between products and support brand strategy You may need to do hands on UX work when creating new feature behavior or UI elements Translate user insights into product-focused ideas that engineering and QA teams can leverage, often through iterative design cycles. Team discussions, sketches, wireframes, design assets, etc., as appropriate Here's how you will succeed at this role and at Tobii: You have solid years of experience or Masters degree specializing in UI/UX design. Bonus points for SaaS or Ecommerce products You are well versed in user/product research An awesome UI designer, someone who lives and breathes interaction best practices, graphic design, brand guideline use--from onboarding and dashboards to emails and support needs UX training and hands on experience in UX research, usability testing and iteration Portfolio required. Must go beyond screenshots and explain process when requested Experience with the tools needed in designing and testing ideas, from pen and paper to digital prototype tools. We use: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Dovetail, UsabilityHub and more A high level Figma knowledge is essential. Job Description We are looking for a UX Designer for an ambitious unannounced game here in Stockholm Sweden. You will establish our design system which will serve as a toolset driving our game’s HUD and User Interface design process. From concepts and requirements, you will create UX flows, wireframes, briefs, and prototypes. In this role, you’ll be joining our Presentation team, and report to the Presentation Lead. Furthermore, you will work closely with other members of the presentation team, such as UI Artists, Programmers and UI Tech Artists. You will share and present your work often. We promote a strong and inclusive feedback culture. In this role you will: Collect requirements from other departments (like our Game Design department) to inform the design decisions made for our UI and HUD. Follow our currently established UX direction and heuristics to translate concepts and requirements into flows, layouts, and wireframes while keeping players’ needs in mind. Writing UX design briefs for other UX designers and co-development studios to follow. Shape our Design System as it is used in the game’s User Interface and HUD. Validate our designs with our players by leveraging Ubisoft UX research labs and methodologies. Ensure that our interface is as usable and as accessible as it can be to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Qualifications We would love if you: Are a skilled and ethical UX designer with a generous portfolio. Are experienced in the full production cycle of creating user interfaces - from concepts and requirements, to flow, through wireframe, and prototype, to final deliverable. Have an eye and passion for designing accessible and usable interfaces. Are skilled in tools like Axure, Figma, Adobe XD, or other similar prototyping tools. Have an understanding in Design Systems and User-Centred Design ideology. Are experienced with communicating your vision and giving/receiving feedback. Are used to working in an international environment and to express yourself fluently in English.
